Confuses all enemies with a blast of sound. Use with the Tools command.

Noiseblaster, also known as NoiseBlaster,[1][2] is one of Edgar's Tools in Final Fantasy VI. When used with the Tools command, it inflicts confuse on all enemies not immune to the status. Noiseblaster is unblockable, and an effective way to greatly disrupt multiple enemies at once. Noiseblaster can be acquired early on in the game, and used as long as the tool exists in the player's inventory. If sold, there are other ways to obtain it.

Noiseblaster can be purchased for 250 gil at Figaro Castle or South Figaro. Later, it can be stolen from Trapper or Metal Hitman.

Gogo can also use any Tools abilities also, as long as the tool still exists in the player's inventory and Tools is equipped in Gogo's ability menu.

Noiseblaster inflicts confuse on all enemies not immune to the effect, and does no damage of its own. As such, it will be a great way to disrupt enemies, causing them to attack one another rather than attack the player. This ability is great defensively, allowing players to confuse enemies and grant themselves breathing room in battle to heal themselves. Used offensively, it may deal damage over time as the enemies attack each other, but it will not deal more damage than simply using Auto Crossbow or a similar ability that hits all enemies; confuse wears off after the afflicted is struck with a physical attack.

Because bosses and some larger enemies typically have immunity to Noiseblaster, it will be ineffective against more powerful threats.
