Template:FFI Enemies The Neochu, also known as the Naocho in the Nintendo Entertainment System translation, is an enemy in the original Final Fantasy. The Neochu is one of the strongest monsters appearing on the rivers of the Overworld. Like many of their equivalents in later games, the Neochu's attacks tend to cause negative status effects; in this game, they inflict Poison. It appears as a palette swap of the normal Ochu enemy, having higher stats than its cousin. As such, it is harder to defeat, although some Thunder-based spells and heavy physical attacking should do the trick.
