Nemesis Rod (X) is a LD Staff for Yuna, enabling access to the LD ability, Energy Nova, as well as the abilities Energy Nova Power, I Can Fly Longer, and Energy Nova Charge. It provides 172 HP, 68 DEF, 280-355 INT BRV, 2874-3324 Max BRV, 958-1108 ATK, and adds 90-100 CP.

Etymology[]
Nemesis means something a person cannot conquer, or an opponent whom a person cannot best. It can also mean an agent or act of retribution or punishment. It originates from Greek némesis meaning "a dealing out", verbid of némein "to dispense (justice)". Nemesis is also a goddess from Greek mythology. Coincidentally, the weapon originates from Final Fantasy X whose superboss at the apex of the Monster Arena quest is also called Nemesis.
