Negator is a boss in Final Fantasy X. It is a machina fought in the Crawler battle at Lake Macalania. It stops the use of magic and summons.
The Negator model is reused for Picket in Final Fantasy X-2.

Main article: Crawler strategy
During the battle with Crawler, a single Negator may be present. While the Negator is present, magic and aeons are blocked, but after it is destroyed, the Crawler can charge its Mana Beam attack. Casting four spells upon the Crawler after a Negator has fallen will summon another Negator. Wakka's regular attacks can be used to defeat it.
