Nedus is an Al Bhed blitzball player who wears a mask. He has high SH and EN, and though initially the second slowest player in Spira (second to Mifurey) with a speed of 30, this attribute starts to grow in the mid 30s, maxing out at 99 between levels 60 and 70, making him the character who reaches top-speed at the lowest level.

He also starts with the first and second levels of the technique Nap Shot, which comes in handy against particularly tough goalies (Like Nimrook). Players who intend to "level grind" their team may find that Nedus's high speed, endurance and shooting at late levels make him a formidable forward worthy of patient development.

At level 99, Nedus is tied with Brother for the best SP stat.
