Naraku.
Naraku (ナラク, Naraku?) is a dungeon in Final Fantasy Type-0. It is located near the eastern borders of the Dominion of Rubrum and the Kingdom of Concordia, in the Dominion sovereign region of Eibon among the Strait of Judecca.
Story[]
In Gel. X, 251, the Kingdom of Dracobaltia expanded its territory up to the Eibon and Roshana borders closest to the Dominion of Rubrum. Uninterested in diplomacy or negotiation, the Dracobaltian troops razed and destroyed any opposition. Despite their headstrong declaration of war, dominion ranks ultimately won with Dracobaltia's most glaring weakness being their disorganization.
After having fled dominion territory, Dracobaltia yet lusted for dominance. The nation's Blue Dragon Crystal granted the people's wishes and gave them the power to command wyverns. Unsatisfied with the alternate option of contentment, peace, and prosperity, Dracobaltia continued its campaign for the Crystals of Orience and showed little if any gratitude and reverence to their new steeds and companions, using them as livestock and warhorses at their disposal.
In the face of such cruelty even the people of Dracobaltia were divided and civil unrest swept through the land. The Blue Dragon Crystal's power waned, and upon its dimming light that threatened imbalance throughout Orience rose another Crystal to take its place: the Azure Dragon Crystal.
With the Blue Dragon Crystal and its followers without power, the followers of the Azure Dragon Crystal took reign and cast those of the banner of Dracobaltia down from the throne. The Azure Dragon Crystal branded l'Cie and condemned Dracobaltia's actions as blasphemy and idolatry. The new Kingdom of Concordia decreed that Dracobaltian civilization was to be swept off the face of the continent, and for those cursed for having eaten the flesh of wyvern were to be sealed into an obscure and slow erasure from history's pages.
The Cursemire of Naraku, a cylindrical deep vault of hydraulic construction, was created as a sealed prison for Dracobaltians.
When Clemente Yuzuki Nes Peacemaker and Class Zero corner the King of Concordia during his search for the Blue Dragon Crystal in Naraku, they discover he was responsible for Queen Andoria's assassination to become Concordia's first king. Because he felt he had been discriminated due to his gender, he wanted to reactivate the Blue Dragon Crystal so the kingdom would no longer be solely ruled by women. Clemente reveals that the Blue Dragon Crystal no longer exists and the male people of the Blue Dragon Crystal have become the Dracobaltians. The king refuses to accept Clemente's explanation and is devoured by the Dracobaltians before he can fulfill his ambitions. Clemente chooses to stay in Naraku to fend off the Dracobaltians, sacrificing herself to allow Class Zero to escape.

Etymology[]
Naraku (奈落?) means "hell" in Japanese, mostly refers to the hell in Bhudism. It derives from the Sanskrit naraka.
Naraka (नरक) is the Sanskrit word for the Underworld. According to some schools of Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism, Naraka is a place of torment, or Hell.
