Nakente is a non-playable character in Final Fantasy XIV. She is the outskirts coin keeper and is a quest giver within Heritage Found.
History[]
Early Life[]
Nakente lived in Tesh'pyani with Yyupye and her baby daughter, Shaloaci. She is considered the aunt to the girl and helped raise her alongside the townspeople once Yyupye passed away.
Nakente asked an adventurer to help the shetona woman Shaloaci, who went to investigate something alone without a bodyguard. As soon as Shaloaci returned, she was scolded by Nakente. After understanding the seriousness of her situation, she still worried for Shaloaci's safety and asked the adventurer to look after her. With the adventurer agreeing, she offered to make them a meal of fresh vegetables.
As they prepared to leave, Nakente asked the adventurer to stay to talk about payment, but in truth told them about her past and asked them to talk to her as she would not open up to the townsfolk. Later on, the adventurer returned telling them of what transpired. She apologized for being unable to remember much about Yyupye due to their regulators and opened up to them of her opinion on the devices. Following up with telling them that Shaloaci was probably in the control tower reading the letter and marking it on their map. She told the adventurer to stay safe when they went out again.
After hearing back from Shaloaci, she was surprised to learn that she was the founder's daughter and was glad someone local took over the farm. She thanked the adventurer and told them to be careful when hunting the mushroom monsters. Once the Exorays were uprooted and exterminated, Nakente asked Shaloaci if she still had any misgivings about being in charge of the farm, but she said she no longer dis, and wanted to rebuild Tesh'pyani and the station with a lot of ideas already thought up. Nakente jokingly wondered if she should be worried as the coinkeeper, and the two thanked the adventurer before they parted ways.

An older Tonawawtan woman, with brown hair and brown eyes, she wears a Sarcenet Jacket of Gathering dyed an ink blue, AR-Caean Velvet Hose of Crafting pants dyed snow white, Dhalmelskin Crakows of Casting, a Ronkan Earrings of Fending, and a Claro Walnut Bracelet of Gathering.
Personality[]
A caring aunt to Shaloaci, her and the townspeople helped raise the girl after her mother passed away, this extends to adventurers as well, telling them to stay safe when going out, and warns the adventurer about the fungi they are trying to get rid of are monsters.
