Mysidia(ミシディア, Mishidia?) is a location in Final Fantasy Dimensions. It's the legendary homeland of the mages and thought to be existed only in fables. It's kept floating by the power of a Crystal. There is a small house here that leads to Mysidia Cavern.
After their departure from Castle Burtgang, the Warriors of Light head to Mysidia. Despite being pursued by an imperial airship, they lose it and get to the town's area. With Dr. Lugae and Argy stay behind on the airship, the warriors move out and meet the Great Elder, Sophia. Sol calls her a "Gaunt Girl" and is struck by lightning. Dusk reports that they have succeeded in protecting five crystals and Alba has also succeeded in her charges as well. Sophia informs them about the Dimensional Shift and explains she sent Dusk and Alba to protect the crystals from Avalon Empire and they let themselves to be captured to secure the crystals' safety.
The earth shakes and a Black Mage tells them that a battleship is heading to Mysidia. The warriors head outside and ready to bring the battleship down. After returning from the Heliogabalus, Sophia and the Warriors head to the Mysidia Cavern to acquire the ultimate White Magic spell, Holy, causing Mysidia to return to the surface.
While Sophia and the Warriors are exploring the Massive Cavern, the empire's soldiers capture the mages in Mysidia. A Dimensional Shift occurs, making all people in Mysidia disappear. The Warriors of Light unite with the Warriors of Darkness and the team heads back to Mysidia. Alba reports the situation to Sophia and Sol urges the party to attack Castle Avalon and receive Sophia's approval. Then they head to Castle Avalon.
After returning from Deist Forest with a piece of Dark Matter, Sophia explains the Dark Matter is a substance found only in rifts and its power is said to be equal to a Crystal. Vata appears and tells them that there are eight pieces of Dark Matter and the Empire is searching for them, and the deceased generals were brought back to life to find them. The team heads out to the pieces of Dark Matter.
