Mutamix Bubblypots is a character from Final Fantasy XIV. Formerly a member of the goblin Illuminati, he shares his knowledge of Materia with the people of Eorzea from his camp in Central Thanalan, located at the Bonfire.

The Adventurer is tasked by Minfilia shortly after joining the Scions to visit Mutamix and learn about how to obtain Materia, with him melding a materia onto her knife as a demonstration. Players who pursue to the Disciples of the Hand can learn from him how to perform the melds, overmelds, as well as desynthesis.
He later plays a role in the Relic Weapons questline. Jalzahn Daemir has him sought out on how to bypass limitations of materia, whom Mutamix directs to a pupil of his, Hubairtin, to create an experimental Sphere Scroll for the purpose of converting materia into light energy for Jalzahn's purposes. Mutamix takes a more direct role in the task to recreate the Zodiac Weapons, with him personally arriving in Hyrstmill to convert the old Relic Nexus into experimental materia to transfer its soul attunement to the new host weapon.
