In-game description
Mummy is an undead enemy from Vagrant Story. Mummies are easily defeated using an Edged weapon buffed with either Light or Air affinity. They are vulnerable to the Warlock spell Exorcism. One of the first mummies faced in the Iron Maiden B1 drops a Shamshir, which is useful for weapon combinations.

Etymology[]
A mummy is a deceased human or animal whose skin and organs have been preserved by either intentional or incidental exposure to chemicals, extreme cold (ice mummies), very low humidity, or lack of air when bodies are submerged in bogs, so that the recovered body will not decay further if kept in cool and dry conditions.
