The Mummy is an enemy from Final Fantasy III, fought in the Sealed Cave and Mythril Mines. They are rather powerful enemies that can deal decent damage with their physical attacks, and can inflict Poison through the Poison spell, though they only use this 20% of the time. Physical attacks work fine on them, though the player may also opt to use Potion and Cure if they wish to defeat them much faster. Fire is also a decent way of defeating them. They can become a threat if they come in groups of five.

A mummy is a deceased human or animal whose skin and organs have been preserved by either intentional or incidental exposure to chemicals, extreme cold (ice mummies), very low humidity, or lack of air when bodies are submerged in bogs, so that the recovered body will not decay further if kept in cool and dry conditions.
