Template:Sideicon The Mu is an enemy from Final Fantasy IX. It can be found in the Gunitas Basin on the Mist Continent. A friendly Mu can also be encountered as part of a side quest in the Nolrich Heights on the Mist Continent. It is likely the first Friendly Enemy the player will encounter, and will reward the party with 10 AP if given an Ore.
A more powerful version of the Mu can also be fought during the Festival of the Hunt in Lindblum. Instead of gil and EXP, these encounters give Hunting Points.
