Mt. Verde (ベルデの山, Berude no Yama?) is a mountain in Final Fantasy Dimensions. It is located to the north of the Sunken Ship, to the south of the village of Verde and it also seems to be to the southeast of Lux. From its summit, one may get a good glimpse of the world tree, Yggdrasil.
Story[]
Upon arriving at the summit of Mount Verde, the party gazes at the giant tree looming in the distance. Nacht calls the tree, Yggdrasil, citing it as the home to the elves. Diana and Glaive are surprised by where they are because Yggdrasil is far to the southeast of Lux. Alba interjects the duo by bringing to attention the fact that the world they are currently in is surrounded by darkness, stating that daybreak seemingly never comes. Thus, Alba concludes with the idea that Lux currently stopped existing, resulting in a distressed Diana and an angry Glaive. A furious Glaive comes angrily at Alba, believing that the latter thinks that the situation is just some game to be played and then he threatens to leave the group with Diana, promising her that he will take her back to Lux. Alba scoffs at Glaive's efforts to deny the facts, stating that while two people may be able to have company, having four people can save them from monsters. Having no qualms with this logic, Diana calms Glaive and agrees to stay with their mysterious companions, at least for a little while until she finds her friends. As the party descends the mountain, they move northwards until they stumble upon the village of Verde.
