Moore

Moore is a supporting character of War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Known as the Profound Astrologer, she is the elder sister of Ramada, both survivors from a village of astrologers with the ability to read the stars for foretelling.

Seeking revenge, the sisters traveled together until a fateful event sets them apart. Moore eventually joins the country of Heindler in hopes of getting closer to Rundall and by proxy the target of her revenge, King Jayden Rundall.

Profile[]

Appearance[]

Moore appears to be a young woman with long, blonde hair, with some strands tied into braids. She has pink eyes. She has a mole on the left side of her neck. She wears a necklace with a blue diamond. She wears a black bodysuit underneath her long, white collared garment. She wears multiple harnesses by her waist, securing her white garment to her body. She wears black gauntlets. She wears a long, blue cloak marked with jewels and having black ruffles by its ends and also having purple ropes throughout it. She wears white, thigh-high boots.

Personality[]

Moore is a stoic person, reacting to most things with apathy. While showing a cold exterior, deep down she carries a murderous grudge. Rundall destroying her home set her on course to kill King Jayden, and she is laser focused on this goal, leaving little room for anything else; the concerns of others, or even her own sister are secondary to her thirst for revenge.

Hardening herself for the task has made Moore outwardly emotionless, nihilistic, and detached. Approaching things with cold logic, she believes anything that deviates from a rational line to be a waste of time, reinforced by her powerful foretelling ability, which she exploits to follow the most surefire way to achieve her goals.

Corwell introduces the sisters to the Resistance.

Two years following the events of the main story, Moore and Ramada have joined Corwell in the Resistance as his visitors. The sisters decided to lend the Resistance a hand, with Corwell mentioning that their village was wiped out amidst battle between Rundall and Lykeros. Corwell goes on to mention that they are reading the stars for them, bewildering some Resistance members. Moore asks Ramada to demonstrate, with Ramada looking at the sky and noticing that the darkness is growing steadily. Corwell asks Ramada what that means, with Moore interjecting by stating that Ramada cannot accurately read the stars yet.

Moore warns the Resistance about withdrawing.

Moore warns the Resistance about withdrawing.

The Resistance members denounce the readings, calling it drivel and mentioning that they shape their own so-called destiny through sheer force. Moore looks at some members of the Resistance who have already gone on ahead and calls thems fools. She suggests for them to withdraw at once if they do not wish to die, with Corwell mentioning that those members will either sink or swim and that he will cover for them.

Ep. 3: Blaze of the Battlefield I[]
Moore determines that Rundall has turned northward.

Moore determines that Rundall has turned northward.

In the midst of battle, Moore points out that the enemy battalion has turned northward, suggesting they withdraw for the time being to reorganize their formation. Corwell asks for the location of the batallion, with Moore pointing out that it's behind the hill which is beyond their field of vision. The Resistance members are amazed that Moore can see it, with Corwell mentioning that therein lies the true potential of reading the stars. Moore interjects and says it doesn't matter and that they should ready themselves as they approach. Ramada notices that Corwell is being pushed to act, with Corwell mentioning that he himself doesn't doubt their abilities but the other members do.

Moore can't comprehend why the soldiers can't do as they're told.

Moore can't comprehend why the soldiers can't do as they're told.

Moore wonders why the soldiers can't be put to task, stating they just need to do what they're told. Corwell says it is a matter of trust and that his comrades can't place their faith in the sisters as of yet, with Moore interjecting once more and asking what good is faith. She is insistent that they only need do what they are instructed, wondering if it's too much to ask. Corwell says it's a bit unreasonable, stating they are human and have the thoughts and feelings that go with it. A dejected Moore finds it trifling that the Resistance has already settled on defeat.

Ep. 5: A Premonition of Ruin I[]

Ramada and Moore rout several Rundall soldiers with their spear and magic. Moore looks to the sky as Ramada calls out to her. Ramada also takes a look at the sky and is shocked, prompting Moore to ask her if she feels it too. Ramada says she can see it but it's kind of hazy, stating she sees a great stag. Moore interjects and says it will perish, going on to state that the stars predict the fall of Rundall. Ramada is elated and asks if fate finally favors them, with Moore saying that fate isn't stagnant but ever-evolving. Moore mentions there will no longer be a need to risk their lives as their revenge will be realized, with Ramada asking if they are to abandon the resistance. Moore thinks nothing of abandoning them as whether or not they keep up the fight or concede is up to them.

Ramada then asks Moore about Lilyth, with Moore saying one doesn't need to read the stars to see what is to become of that woman's fate. Ramada confirms that she sees a far-reaching, immense darkness and Moore mentions escaping such an omen is impossible. Moore also adds that involving themselves with Lilyth would mean they run the risk of being consumed by that same darkness, warning Ramada against sympathizing with Lilyth's fate.

Ep. 7: Contradiction[]
Moore asks about the absurdity of an entire clan dying for a trivial cause.

Moore asks about the absurdity of an entire clan dying for a trivial cause.

Moore readies herself to leave the Resistance, with Corwell asking if there's anything he can do to keep her from leaving. Moore tells him it is futile to stop her, with Corwell wondering if it truly is as she's ceding the place they were born and raised. He thought Moore would understand given what happened to her homeland but Moore continues to say it's futile. Ramada mentions that their homeland was a sacred place for those that read the stars and that they were unable to yield it. Corwell deduces that is what led to its destruction, with Moore going on to state that a homeland is just land. Moore asks Corwell if he does not think it absurd for an entire clan to perish while clinging onto such a trivial thing.

Moore shares her plans to sneak into Heindler to watch Rundall's downfall.

Moore shares her plans to sneak into Heindler to watch Rundall's downfall.

A Resistance soldier interjects and calls it convenient for Moore to say such things, asking her if all the memories held within the land is trivial to her. He then implies that her premonition of Rundall's destruction is a farce, mentioning she would rather run than face Rundall. Moore glares at the member, while Corwell asks her where she will go. She states she will go to Heindler as she wishes to sneak into the heart of the enemy to watch their downfall. Lilyth interjects and says going to Heindler will spill the blood of countless innocents and that Moore is just casting the weak aside. Lilyth warns Moore that doing so won't make war cease to exist.

Moore wishing Lilyth a befittingly miserable and forlorn death.

Moore tells Lilyth that she is doing the exact same thing she is talking about. She tells Lilyth that she had initially been told that Lilyth had forsaken her homeland because of a craven prince and that she wished to die, with Moore telling Lilyth that she wishes her a befittingly miserable and forlorn death. Lilyth is silent as Moore ponders on Lilyth's insistence to die, given that it seems there's a desire for Lilyth to live, with Lilyth stating that she wants to see the fighting end.

Moore asking Lilyth why abandoning her country and being on her own would end the wars.

Moore asking Lilyth why abandoning her country and being on her own would end the wars.

Moore is irritated and asks Lilyth if abandoning her country and striking out on her own would ensure the wars would come to an end, with Lilyth remaining silent as Moore says she is not driven by fleeting emotions as Lilyth seems. Moore says everything she does is to increase the likelihood of Rundall's demise, even if only by a little.

Moore tells Lilyth that she is unlike her.

Moore tells Lilyth that she is unlike her.

Moore asks Ramada if she wants to join her and Ramada says she will stay, with Moore stating that Ramada has resigned herself to the all-consuming darkness. Moore tells them to take care and leaves. Lilyth asks Ramada why she would part with her own sister and Ramada laughs and asks herself the same question. Ramada mentions she wants to witness the waking of the lion and tells Lilyth that she will leave it at that.

Guidance from the Stars.

The two astrologer sisters—Ramada and Moore. In the years before Ramada began her stay in Leonis, the sisters had always traveled together, but events unfolded which caused them to part ways.
Just as their looks and personalities differ, so did their star-reading capabilities. The older Moore had been able to perform many readings surrounding the collapse of Rundall. On the other hand, although the younger Ramada had sensed indications of Rundall's demise as well, these were much hazier intuitions compared to her sister's; nevertheless, she was able to perceive the Waking of the Lion which Moore could not. Each following their own guidance from the stars, the two chose to serve different nations.
Does a future await them in which they join hands once again? Even now, neither has been able to read those stars.

Fervor of the Festival.

The whole town has been decorated with red ornaments of all manner of shapes and sizes. The main street is so crowded that you cannot move unless you push through people. Th sounds of firecrackers exploding come from all directions. In the square, everyone beats musical instruments while great dragons and lions dance vigorously to the rhythm. Then when night comes, red paper lanterns light up the place and spectacular fireworks burst across the skies.
Moore, having just experienced this hustle and bustle that is very different from the town's usual atmosphere, gently pats her favorite tiger and thinks:
"We can enjoy these festivities, without a worry in the world, for this is a time of peace. I shall do everything in my power to bring about a greater, longer-lasting period of peace for the people to make the most of."
And so, Moore made this her new year's resolution.
