History[]
With the Moonfire Faire festivities coming up, Mayaru Moyaru has offered Warrior of Light rewards for helping with the preparations. He invited the Warrior of Light to speak with Haermaga who was distributing the tasks for the festival. Haermaga said that the Bombard King had risen again and that he and some members of the Adventurers' Guild intended to end his reign before it began. At first he asks to support by exterminating some of the minions who accompanied his king to the Costa del Sol, but then, in a low voice, he asks to meet him at the waterfall in a quarter bell so that he can explain about a secret mission.[2]
The Go Go Posing Rangers.
At the location, a trio of masked Rangers dressed in red, black and yellow appeared before the Warrior of Light. After some bold introductions, they explained that while their powers when combined in Firefall Battle Formation are strong enough to take down the Bombard King, it is something they could not consistently accomplish. To improve their success rate, they asked Warrior of Light to help with their training. Haermaga was happy to hear that Warrior of Light was willing to help the Go Go Posing Rangers with their training. He asked that he begin working with the Red Ranger immediately and directs the Warrior of Light to J'nangho.[2]
J'nangho says that the Red Ranger has been busy honing his ability to extinguish fires on smoking mannequins. Believing that a little friendly competition is just what he needed to speed up his training, she tells to follow him in an elbst and try to put out the mannequin flames before he does. J'nangho instructs Warrior of Light to talk to the guild creator, Wunthyll, to borrow an elbst. After the training, Haermaga then asked that you continue to help the Go Go Posing Rangers and asked that you speak with J'nangho to receive the latest training schedules for each of the Rangers.[3]
J'nangho became concerned that the Black Ranger would overexert himself trying to complete her regular training regimen. After trying and failing to convince the obstinate Ranger to wait for the heat to subside, she asked Warrior of Light to deliver three cups of shaved rolanberry ice so that the Black Ranger will not succumb to the summer heat. Taking the first of the cups, she expresses her aversion to ice. Explaining that it is not for the pleasure of eating but to counteract the heat of the sun, she returns the glass, proposing a game. She would hide in twenty seconds and continue doing the squats while the Warrior of Light searched for her, and if she was found before she could complete the designated number, the Warrior of Light won. The loser should then eat the shaved ice as punishment. The Warrior of Light finds the Black Ranger just s a few squats from finishing. Accepting defeat, she takes the remaining ice. Although clearly disappointed with the outcome, she has vowed to improve so that she can further help the Red and Yellow Rangers.[4]
J'nangho told how the Yellow Ranger has perfected a deadly new attack named "Triple Majestic Slash Attack" and he swears that its power is such that it can easily take down any Bombards that are unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end. J'nangho has secretly requested that the Warrior of Light weaken some Bombards so that the Yellow Ranger can test his new technique. Shortly after the Warrior of Light releases the weakened Bygone Bombards in the Yellow Ranger's vicinity, he spots the creatures and asks to back off while he unleashes his attack. He quickly takes care of them, leaving the battle almost unharmed.[5]
Haermaga was concerned that the Go Go Posing Rangers, although they had improved throughout their training, still lacked teamwork. Unfortunately, they ran out of time, as the king and his minions began their advance sooner than expected. After requesting that the Warrior of Light help the Rangers on the battlefield, Haermaga asks him to meet them at Hidden Falls.[6]
At the location the Warrior of Light meets up with the Go Go Posing Rangers, who are one member short. While waiting for the Red Ranger, the other two explain that they still need to perfect the Firefall Battle Formation because their missing comrade often overthinks the steps, causing him to get out of sync. Fortunately, the Yellow and Black Rangers believe they may have found a way to combat this problem through meditation and request that the Warrior of Light hold the Bombards who have appeared on the margins long enough for them to accompany him in the process. While the Yellow and Black Rangers reveal their true identities as Beaudefoin and Hildelana, the Red Ranger joins in still refusing to remove his mask, which was Haermaga. The Go Go Posing Rangers then manage to get into the Firefall Battle Formation and take down the Bombard King. Having learned a valuable lesson about teamwork and the meaning of friendship, Haermaga says that he believes this will be the beginning of a long and successful evil-fighting career for him and his two comrades.[6]
