Moogle Dunk Shot is a synergy ability in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, used by Tifa Lockhart with Cait Sith as a synergy partner. It costs three synergy charges each, deals physical damage across a wide area, and boosts their limit level by 1, giving them new possible limit breaks. This can be boosted up to a limit level of 3 once this is unlocked from their folio.
In the ability's animation, Tifa lifts Cait Sith's moogle and spins it around her. She then lifts it into the air, leaping with it, and throws it to the floor in an explosive attack.

Moogle Dunk Shot is unlocked on Tifa's folio, and costs 20 SP. It is available at party level 8.
Use[]
Moogle Dunk Shot costs three synergy charges each on first use, and four on subsequent uses. It deals physical damage across a wide area-of-effect, and will boost Tifa and Cait Sith's limit level by 1 until they are KO'd in battle. At limit level 2, Tifa's limit break is Dolphin Flurry, and at level 3, her limit break is Meteor Strikes. Cait Sith's limit breaks are simply the Mega and Giga versions of Magic Mogbox, a 
Luck-based attack.
Both Tifa and Cait Sith have other partner combinations to boost their limit level. Tifa can use Bestial Barrage with Red XIII or Divine Punishment with Aerith Gainsborough, while Cait Sith can use SOLDIER Moogle Class with Cloud Strife, Mayhem-Go-Around with Barret Wallace, or Feline Fury with Red XIII.
Increasing Tifa's limit level simply gives her stronger attacks. In longer battles, her limit level should always be increased as soon and as much as possible, especially if a foe is staggered, so she can use Dolphin Flurry or Meteor Strikes, after Starshower, for maximum damage. This means players should prioritize raising her limit level in lengthy battles where she will more likely fill her limit gauge, as it can be a major source of damage output for her.
For Cait Sith, his higher-level limit breaks are simple flat upgrades on his normal limit break. This limit break's damage is based purely on luck, which can be improved by equipping 
Luck Up Materia, but is still not fully reliable as a source of damage. As such, the limit level increase normally benefits Tifa more so than Cait Sith, who can be built toward fulfilling other functions in the party.
If 
Expeditionary Medal is equipped on either party member, they will start at limit level 2, meaning Moogle Dunk Shot can only boost their level up to 3. If Enhanced Expeditionary Medal is equipped, they will start at limit level 3, meaning Moogle Dunk Shot will have no effect on them; as such, the ability should only be used to boost the other's limit level, or for the damage output. Other accessories (namely Silver Brawler's Gloves, Golden Brawler's Gloves, Draconic Ring, Enhanced Draconic Ring, Limit Booster, Transference Module, Gi Warrior's Charm, and Gotterdammerung) and Limit Support Materia can also raise the rate limit gauges increase in battle, allowing them to use their limit breaks more regularly and get more from boosting the limit level.
