Template:Sideicon Monk Warrior, also known as Soldier Monk, is an enemy in Final Fantasy IV Advance and The Complete Collection. They attack in groups of eight in Yang's trial in the Lunar Ruins.
Rydia should Summon Bahamut, or Palom and Porom should use Twin magic to whittle down their large HP quickly. Yang and Cecil should help with their physicals while Rosa or Porom heal. The Monk Warrior's physical attacks do average damage but it is compensated by numbers.
For a very easy win, one should just use a Red Fang on them, as it will deal 9,999 damage and end the battle.

Etymology
monk is a person who practices religious asceticism, living either alone or with any number of other monks. A monk may be a person who decided to dedicate his life to serving all other living beings, or to be an ascetic who voluntarily chooses to leave mainstream society and live his life in prayer and contemplation. The concept is ancient and can be seen in many religions and in philosophy.
