Rikku, Final Fantasy X-2
Mix (ちょうごう or 調合, Chōgō?) is a recurring ability throughout the Final Fantasy series. It is normally associated with the Chemist class. Mix fuses two items to create a more powerful one. Usually it is used right away, but sometimes it can be stored for later use.

Final Fantasy V[]
Mix is the Level 2 ability for the Chemists learned for 30 AP. Although many items that can be used for mixing can also be used on their own, some items exist specifically for use with the Mix command. Mimicking a mix does not use up the items again, but still results in the same outcome.
Final Fantasy X[]
Mix is Rikku's Overdrive and any combination can be looked up in a directory, though the various combinations for the mix will not be shown. Every stockable item can be mixed, though many combinations lead to the same result. When Mix is selected, the CTB bar may display Rikku getting her next turn sooner than she really would.
Final Fantasy X-2[]
Mix is the signature ability of the Alchemist dressphere. All items usable in battle can be mixed.
Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light[]
The Alchemist's Smelt command lets the player combine items to create new ones.

Mix is an ability learned by Rikku at level 80 at (5★). It costs 16 MP to use and enables usage of Sunburst, Hazardous Shell, and Hyper NulAll for 4 turns. It can be upgraded to +2.
Mix is also an ability learned by Item Master Rikku. It costs 99 MP to use and has a 1 turn cooldown, and will randomly use Shining Gem + Shadow Gem and enables usage of Tallboy for 1 turn (27%), Hi-Potion + Bomb Fragment and enables usage of Mega NulAll for 1 turn (27%), Power Distiller + Sleeping Powder and enables usage of Ultra Cure for 1 turn (26%), Lunar Curtain + Amulet and enables usage of Hyper Mighty G for 1 turn (15%), and Special Item while enabling usage to all 4 Mix abilities for 1 turn (5%).
