Final Fantasy III[]

While not appearing physically or having any statistics inside the data, there is a text string of Mistilteinn suggesting that at one point during development this weapon was planned to appear in the 3D remake as a rod.

Final Fantasy XI[]

Mistilteinn is a club that provides 22 damage, 216 delay, INT +10, MND +10, and a latent Refresh effect. The latent effect is active as long as TP ≥ 30, even if not engaged. It deals 6.11 damage per second and accumulates 58 TP per hit. It can be equipped by level 70 White Mage, Black Mage, Red Mage, Summoner, Blue Mage, Scholar, and Geomancer. It is dropped by Za'Dha Adamantking.

Final Fantasy XIII[]

Mistilteinn is an endgame weapon for Vanille, being found in Chapter 12 and becoming purchasable in the Retail Network Plautus's Workshop afterward. It is stronger in magic than physical damage and its special trait is Ally KO: Power Surge, where Vanille gains power when there are KO'd party members. This makes the weapon mainly useful when using Vanille as the lead character, as if the player-controlled character dies, the game is over. The weapon is of niche use as Vanille's strongest magic weapon (Pearlwing Staff and its upgrades) and her debuffing weapon (Belladonna Wand and its upgrades) are generally considered her best options. Mistilteinn can be upgraded to Erinye's Cane with a Scarletite.

Final Fantasy XIV[]

Mistilteinn is a Two-handed Conjurer's Arm for White Mages. It can be obtained from aery, either as a treasure, a drop from the boss Nidhogg, or a reward for completion of the duty.

Mistiteinn (XIII) is a LD Staff for Vanille that enables access to the LD ability, Force Blasters, as well as the abilities Force Blasters Power, Exploitation Longer, and Force Blasters Charge. It provides 125 HP, 62 DEF, 280-355 iBRV, 2946-3396 mBRV, 958-1108 ATK, and adds 90-100 CP.
