Strategy[edit | edit source]

Back Alley

Colonel Truscott.

The objective is to defeat the Imperial Officer (Colonel Truscott) to retrieve important documents. As soon as the cadets spot him he flees up the stairs to the roof and the cadets are attacked by Imperial Troopers and Militesi Coeurls. The cadets must follow Truscott up the staircase. A cadet with long range like Trey is good for damaging him when Truscott is running away. If the cadets finish the colonel they retrieve the stolen documents and Moglin praises the party, next tasking them with taking out the other agents in the area. If Truscott escapes, Moglin asks the cadets to keep pursuing him, and the cadets will face him again at the mission's end.

When the cadets reach the roof there is no sign of the commander but two Panjandrums and a Helldiver. After defeating them the cadets enter the building.

Abandoned Building

Smoke reduces visibility and lock-on range inside. Within the hallways the cadets will encounter Mark Agents. The cadets come to a big room where the Commanding Officer is waiting alongside two Freaks, unless the cadets already downed him in the first area. Defeating all enemies in the big room completes the trial.

The Freaks are the same as Supersoldier Akkad from the Escaping the Imperial Capital mission. At first they will either do a spinning slash or an overhead one. It might be best to down the commander first to concentrate on the Freaks. Once they reach a certain HP threshold, they will begin approaching the cadets with a sprint and their spinning attack lasts longer, with a Breaksight strike chance after it. Their final form has shockwaves shooting from their sword as they spin. It's best to concentrate on one at a time as not to have both shooting shockwaves simultaneously.

Gel. XII – Operation Sticky Fingers

With the aid of the dominion legions, Lady Caetuna was able to summon the Verboten Eidolon which subsequently annihilated all imperial units stationed at Rubrum's western border. Having lost the majority of its troops, Milites installed garrison forces at base cities throughout the empire and ordered the rest of their army to regroup at Ingram.

One of these base cities was Cetme. The town put up a desperate-yet-futile struggle to fend off the dominion assault. During this struggle, however, Dominion Central Command discovered an imperial officer in possession of highly classified documents. The commandant assigned a cadet task force to pursue the officer and retrieve the files in question. The cadets succeeded in their mission and managed to obtain valuable information regarding magitek armor research and development.
