Template:Sideicon Template:Images Mirajewels are special items Lann and Reynn can collect in World of Final Fantasy. They give the twins permanent access to specific abilities when equipped, regardless of the Mirages in their stacks. Mirajewels are obtained by exploring Grymoire and unlocking them in Mirage Boards.
Initially, the amount of Mirajewels Lann and Reynn can equip is limited to two slots each, out of eight. The twins unlock the other slots to use more Mirajewels once the necessary conditions have been met (reaching certain levels and obtaining special items from the Coliseum). Mirajewels only affect the sibling to which they are given.
A sibling cannot equip more than one of the same Mirajewel, but can still equip a similar one should the player wish to boost a certain stat further (equipping a Strength+ and Strength++ Mirajewel, for instance).
The maximum amount of Mirajewels the twins can carry is 99 this was increased to 120 in the Maxima version. The player can discard any Mirajewel to make room for others.
The Maxima version also includes several Mirajewels that are rewarded after defeating post-game bosses, and one that can only be gotten in a New Game+ file. These Mirajewels do not have duplicates in a New Game+ file; if the player discards any of these, they are lost for good.

Champion Jewels
The Maxima version introduces special Mirajewels called Champion Jewels that allow Lann and Reynn to take on the appearances of Champions. Champion Jewels grant both an active and passive ability/stat boost to a sibling when equipped while in Lilikin form. A sibling can only equip one Champion Jewel at a time and can only equip one that matches that sibling's gender. A twin with a Champion Jewel equipped, however, cannot use Champion Medals, and Mega Mirages cannot be summoned if any sibling has a Champion Jewel equipped at all. Equipping a Champion Jewel also changes the battle background music to match the Champion.
Champion Jewels are unlocked after completing Chapter 10. When the player unlocks a character's Champion Medal, their Champion Jewel is also unlocked. Like Champion Medals, Champion Jewels must be traded in with the Girl Who Forgot Her Name for 2 Arma Gems each to obtain them.
For most Maxima characters—Serah, Cecil, Zack, Firion, and Y'shtola—their Champions Jewels are unlocked after completing certain criteria rather than progressing through the story. Noctis's Champion Jewel can be gotten directly from Noctis after successfully scoring a high enough score in the Fishing minigame (only if the player has enough space in their Mirajewel inventory).
There are 20 Champion Jewels. Since the maximum amount of Mirajewels the player can possess is 120, this leaves the player with 100 slots for regular Mirajewels if the player collects them all (one extra from the 99 cap from the original version). Champion Jewels cannot be discarded from the player's Mirajewel inventory, but unlike Champion Medals, carry over in a New Game+ file.
