I couldn't finish 'em. Looks like this's gonna get complicated.
The Miquiztli is an enemy in Final Fantasy XIII-2. It spawns on the north-eastern platform of Academia 500 AF. The platform usually spawns Miquiztli and Xolotl together, or rarely, Tezcatlipoca on its own.
Once the player has killed a set of enemies on there, no more enemies will spawn until the player closes the Academia 500 AF Time Gate and starts again from the beginning. This means the player can capture either Tezcatlipoca, or Miquiztli and Xolotl in one trip, but never all three. However, the player can choose, by hopping on the platform, seeing which enemies spawn, and jumping off again if necessary, whereupon the monsters will despawn.
Stats[]
Battle[]
Miquiztli fights alongside Xolotl and has a similar attack pattern. If Xolotl gets low on HP, Miquiztli will attempt to heal it and remove its status ailments. Once its partner is killed, Miquiztli will start using Bellow to apply defensive buffs and remove status ailments while becoming immune to Pain and Fog, halving Magical damage, and becoming resistant to Physical damage. It may also use its Enraged attack to deal significant damage.
Paradigm Pack[]
The Miquiztli is a Synergist. It is a tank able to give out buffs in battle. It learns a limited moveset and does not learn any defensive spells, as such it is able to be one of the best Synergists available. It has ~8800 HP if all Mana is used. Its Feral Link, Terra Fantasy, heals 5000+ HP to all characters, and casts Esuna and Veil, making Miquiztli invaluable in Long Gui fights if the party is underleveled.

Etymology[]
Miquiztli is from the Nahuatl language (informally known as Aztek). It is an elision of miquiliztli, from miqui ("to die"), and means "death" or "skull". It is also the sixth day sign of the Aztec tōnalpōhualli (a sacred calendrical period used by the Aztecs), a death's head with flaking skin.
