Miotsk Aufmachyt, more commonly known as the Cadetmaster, is a non-player character in Final Fantasy Type-0. She is the head of Akademeia's Administration Division and oversees the Agito Cadets. She is a member of the Consortium of Eight, the dominion's governing body. The Cadetmaster was the one to decide on the cadets' mantle colors, each class having a different color.
After the Militesi Empire invades most of Rubrum, only its capital and magic academy, Akademeia, being spared due to the efforts of Arecia Al-Rashia's hand-reared cadet force, the consortium holds a meeting over their next move. It has been learned that the empire is deploying its l'Cie, and has wiped the Lorican Alliance from the map of Orience with their weapon of mass destruction, the Ultima Bomb. When Arecia arrives, the head of Akademeia's Sorcery Division and archsorceress, the cadetmaster asks if Rubrum's legionaries can be augmented with the same magiteknology that allows Arecia's Class Zero wield magic independent of the Vermilion Bird Crystal. She denies, saying the tek is classified and that it wouldn't be viable, but suggests sending out the Agito Cadets to the war, Class Zero included.
Three of the consortium members, the cadetmaster, the provost, and the commandant, conspire to usurp Arecia and undermine her influence in the dominion. The commandant leads the conspiracy, jealous of her coveted position and closeness to the chancellor that allows her to overstep her authority. The commandant tasks Machina Kunagiri, one of Class Zero's new members, with spying the others, the cadetmaster impressed with his ability to manipulate the naive Machina. The cadetmaster and provost later talk with Machina to find out more about Class Zero but there is little he can tell them.
After Class Zero's commanding officer, Kurasame Susaya, falls in the battle on the Militesi front where Lady Caetuna summoned a Verboten Eidolon, the cadetmaster informs the class they are not assigned a new CO due to the class's unique nature.
