Mini is a status in Final Fantasy V that makes the affected very vulnerable to physical damage, but also makes them more difficult to hit. Minied targets have weak attacks as well. Minied party members shrink and also perform their victory pose in mini state.
The formula for how mini works is as follows:
- Defense = 0, Evade% = Evade% * 2
These are the same stat changes as for toad. With the Mini status and the Genji Shield, the character will have perfect physical evasion. Mini does not wear off during KO.
Abilities[]
Ability | Curse (Dark Arts), Mini Burst (Combine), Mini Cannon (Combine), Mini Shot (Combine) |
---|---|
Spell | Lilliputian Lyric (Blue Magic), Mini (White Magic & Wonder Wand) |
The Mini spell toggles the status; used on a minied target will restore them to normal size.
Enemy abilities[]
Ability | Description | Enemy |

Staying at an inn or using other full heal mechanics also restores the party's status.
