Mini is a status in Final Fantasy IX. Target shrinks, greatly reducing its strength, magic, attack, and defense stats. Mini status can be reversed with 100% accuracy if hit by the same effect again, and there is no immunity ability to prevent it. Minied ones have extremely weak physical attacks and their magic damage is halved.
Useful applications of Mini are against the Meltigemini boss, Grand Dragons, Garudas, and the Iron Man and other enemies in the final dungeon.

Protection[]
The player cannot protect against Mini.
Healing[]
Mini can be healed with Remedy & Angel's Snack, and the White Magic spells Mini and Esuna. Entering Trance also purges most active ailments, but does not necessarily make one immune to them.

- All bosses except Armodullahan, Black Waltz 2, Black Waltz 3, Earth Guardian, Gizamaluke, Hilgigars, Meltigemini, Red Dragon, Tantarian, Thorn, and Zorn
