Minerva Band (ミネルバブレス, Mineruba Buresu?, lit. Minerva Brace) is a recurring armor piece in the Final Fantasy series. Despite the similar name, it is distinct from the Minerva Bustier.

The Minerva Band is an armor with above-average defenses and six Materia slots, linked in three pairs. It can be found in the Ancient Forest and stolen from Elena. It nullifies Fire-, Ice-, Holy-, and Gravity-elemental attacks, and can only be equipped by females.

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia[]

Minerva Band (VII) is a 7★ armor for Tifa that enables access to the ability Attack's Keystone. It provides 32 HP, 1797 DEF, 90 mBRV, 27 ATK, and adds 210 CP.

Pictlogica Final Fantasy[]

Minerva Band is a rarity 4 accessory that provides 20 Strength, Defense, and Magic, and +10% Evasion. It can only be equipped by female Memoria. It can also be upgraded to rarity 5 where it provides 30 Strength, 20 Magic, 20 Defense, 10% Evasion, and increases the user's Fire-elemental attacks.

Etymology[]

Minerva is the Roman pantheon equivalent to the Greek goddess Athena. Her name is thought to be a mishearing and a corruption of the Latin word mens, meaning "mind".
