Michio Okamiya

Michio Okamiya (岡宮道生, Okamiya Michio?) is a Japanese video game composer and was the rhythm (and occasionally lead) guitarist of the Black Mages. He used to work in the Publicity Department of Square Enix and served as a producer of Romancing SaGa 3, until he was asked to join the band.

He is currently a member of the Earthbound Papas.

Some of Okamiya's first works in a musical project were the arrangement of Final Fantasy X's opening theme song "Otherworld" and Final Fantasy VIII's "Maybe I'm a Lion" on the album The Black Mages II: The Skies Above.
