Meja is a character from Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon. She works as a waitress at the cafe owned by Dardola in the town of Lostime. Her personality comes across as shy and reserved, but her smile and kind personality is what makes her well-known among the cafe visitors. Meja is very clumsy, while she is dropping the coffee she serves all the time. She is later revealed to be the Oracle of Water and her Guardian Beast, Leviathan.

In the third chapter of the game, the water of the fountain turns black and stinky, later Stella asks Chocobo if he can deliver a bag of fresh biscuits she baked for the cafe. When Chocobo gives it to Meja, she starts talking about she remembered something from her past, but the Bell of Oblivion rings and she forgets.

When Chocobo brings her memories back, Meja hears someone calling her name, and she and Chocobo go out the cafe. She then sees that the water of the fountain is clean again, then Raffaello says that it's because she has her powers as the Oracle of Water back.

Etymology

Rather comically, the word "Meja" literally means "table" in Indonesian and Malay language. Much to the irony that Meja's job description is related to serving tables.
