Megiddo Flame (メギド・フレイム or メギドフレイム, Megido・Fureimu?), also known as End Of Days, is a recurring enemy ability in the series.

Final Fantasy VIII[edit | edit source]
Megiddo Flame is an enemy ability used by Mobile Type 8 (when in "Mobile Off, Support On" mode) and Omega Weapon. When used by Mobile Type 8, it is the last attack used in the aforementioned mode and will deal major non-elemental damage to the party while ignoring Defense. When used by Omega Weapon, it will always inflict 9,998 damage to the party.

Megiddo Flame is an enemy ability used by Chimera, Chimera Brain, and Chimerageist. It inflicts Fire-elemental magic damage to one party member with a power of 35.

Megiddo Flame is an Ultimate ability exclusive to the Meia-type legend job Primeval Witch. It deals huge non-elemental damage to all enemies, inflicting ailments such as Debarrier as well as granting the user a variety of boons such as Mage's Trance and Prismatic Shift.

Megiddo Flame is a special ability that attacks all enemies with Fire for five times the damage of a conventional attack, and for the duration of the music all allies' Physical Attack is raised by 50%. It can be activated after attacking 30 enemies with a physical attack while equipped with any spear.
Bravely Second: End Layer[edit | edit source]
Megiddo Flame is the level 3 offensive-type Special Move for spears. It allows a character to attack all enemies with fire. For the duration of the music, the P.Atk of all allies is raised by 50%. Music bonuses will stack with other attribute bonuses.

Etymology[edit | edit source]
The Book of Revelation mentions apocalyptic military amassment at Armageddon, a name derived from the Hebrew "Har Megiddo" meaning "Mount of Megiddo". The word has become a byword for the end of the age.
