Mega Mirages are the largest Mirages in World of Final Fantasy. Listed as the size "XL", they cannot be added to the normal stacks for battles. They are instead summoned via the battle menu, by selecting the "Mega Mirages" command.
Mega Mirages are summoned by both Lann and Reynn, and doing so requires AP from both their stacks. If either sibling is not present, they cannot be summoned. Once summoned, a Mega Mirage temporarily takes the place of the player's stacks as they fight for them. Attacking requires AP, and is not replenished when their turn comes up. If a Mega Mirage's HP or AP is depleted, they automatically disappear and cannot be summoned in the same battle again. The player's stacks then return to the battle. The player may also dismiss the Mega Mirage at any time by selecting the "Release" command.
As Mega Mirages cannot be added to the player's stacks, they are not given a weight stat and their stats cannot be seen from the Stack Setup menu (they can still viewed from the Prism Case, however). Because of this, Mega Mirages receive only the flat 8% of EXP earned in battles.
In the Maxima version, equipping Champion Jewels for either Lann or Reynn has a drawback of preventing them from summoning Mega Mirages in battle.

- While Mega Mirages have victory animations, there is no such selection in the Mirage Manual.
