Restores 2000 HP to each party member.

Final Fantasy X description

The Mega-Potion (メガポーション, Mega Pōshon?) is a curative item in many Final Fantasy games. An upgrade of the original Potion, this restores a high amount of HP to all active party members. They are often quite rare, and it is often wise for the player to save these.

Mega-Potions restore 1,500 HP. They cost 500 gil and first become available for purchase in Chapter 7. Vincent can carry up to two at one time.

Mega-Potion is available for free on an Alchemist dressphere's Stash ability. The Mega-Potion can also be accessed through the Mix ability and in Lady Luck's Random Reels by lining up three BARs.

Final Fantasy XV

A high-end energy drink that takes on healing properties by way of Noctis's powers. Filly restores the party's HP.

Description

Mega Potion is a recovery item that restores 100% of lowered maximum HP for all party members and removes Danger. It is found in various outposts and dungeons, in Gladiolus's Survival skill Level 3-7, obtained as a reward for David Auburnbrie's Dust to Dust quest, and dropped by Red Giant (8%).

Final Fantasy Type-0

Mega-Potions restore 50% of the party's HP. They are obtained from many Free Time Events and by completing a number of special orders during a mission.

Etymology

Mega is a unit prefix in the metric system denoting a factor of one million (106 or 1,000,000). It has the symbol M.

A potion (from Latin potio "drink" derived from Greek poton "that which one drinks") is a consumable medicine or poison. In mythology and literature, a potion has magical properties and might be used to heal, bewitch or poison people.
