At the request of the Adventurers' Guild, the Warrior of Light met with the chief chaperone Haermaga. He is a bit vague about the reason for these festivities, but is quite clear on the matter of reward. In exchange for participation in three events, Haermaga promised to reward with a special costume. Haermaga directed the Warrior of Light to meet with the chaperones Mayaru Moyaru, Ethelia and J'nangho, each responsible for one of the events.[1]

Mayaru Moyaru was responsible for the event called "The Cannon–do Spirit", which consisted of shooting enemies with an old Maelstrom cannon. Before letting the Warrior of Light participate, Mayaru Moyaru insists on explaining some basic safety rules.[2]

Moonfire Faire 2016[]

With the Moonfire Faire festivities coming up, Mayaru Moyaru has offered Warrior of Light rewards for helping with the preparations. He invited the Warrior of Light to speak with Haermaga who was distributing the tasks for the festival. Haermaga said that the Bombard King had risen again and that he and some members of the Adventurers' Guild intended to end his reign before it began.[3]

Moonfire Faire 2017[]

At the request of Gegeruju himself, the Moonfire Faire would be held on the Isle of Endless Summer to promote it as a new paradise resort. Mayaru Moyaru advertised the event in Limsa Lominsa and asked Warrior of Light to travel to the island in eastern La Noscea and talk to Haermaga to learn more about the event.[4]

Moonfire Faire 2018[]

While the Moonfire Faire is celebrated across Eorzea, Mayaru Moyaru has reported that the main attraction is on the Costa del Sol. However, he is suspiciously secretive about the nature of this attraction. Upon arriving in Costa del Sol, the Warrior of Light is confronted with several wooden structures. Haermaga, reveals that they have built an obstacle course as the centerpiece of this year's festivities. The organizers of the event believe that the sight of members of the Adventurers' Guild risking their lives to complete an increasingly difficult series of challenges will inspire the younger generation to one day become adventurers.[5]

Moonfire Faire 2020[]

Reports from the Fishermen's Guild reported of a giant man-eating shark terrorizing the shores of Costa del Sol, and the Moonfire Faire hosts desperately sought help to ward off this threat before anyone was hurt. Mayaru Moyaru has asked the Warrior of Light to come to the location to help with the problem.[6]

Moonfire Faire 2021[]

According to Mayaru Moyaru, the feature of this year's festivities would be a delicious dessert ordered by the ever-generous Master Gegeruju, and his colleagues would welcome the help of the Warrior of Light to prepare it.[7]

Moonfire Faire 2022[]

Mayaru Moyaru invited Warrior of Light to join the festivities that year. He says that due to popular demand, Gegeruju brought back the Eorzean Nimble Warrior attraction in a redesigned version. Although he doesn't explicitly say which attraction it was, he invited the Warrior of Light to visit the site and find out for themselves.[8]

Moonfire Faire 2023[]

Mayaru Moyaru, who was calling for adventurers to attend the Moonfire Faire, informed Warrior of Light that in addition to the acclaimed Nimble Warrior course, the festivities were being guarded by a brave hero named Sunshine Savior. However, more help is always needed, and Mayaru Moyaru encourages Warrior of Light to speak with Haermaga to volunteer.[9]

Moonfire Faire 2023[]

Mayaru Moyaru informed Warrior of Light that the Moonfire Faire was being held on the Costa del Sol and they needed more helpers. That year they had added a Far Eastern flair with fans. They are called "uchiwa" and ward off evil spirits. To guarantee their authenticity, an expert Namazu was hired to make a hundred boxes of them. To manage an event of this magnitude, the Adventurers' Guild needed more volunteers to help reinforce the event's security.[10]
