Template:Sideicon Template:FFXII Enemies The Matriarch Bomb is a Rare Game enemy in the game Final Fantasy XII. It is fought in the Stilshrine of Miriam. It is a weaker form of the Mom Bomb.
Bestiary Entry
Derivation: Mom Bomb
Said to be a prototype version of the mom bomb created to guard the treasures lying within the Stilshrine. This strain, as yet unrecorded in the Camp annals, is hunted in the Stilshrine of Miriam.
How to Find
Template:Cropped Image The Matriarch Bomb can be hard to find. It has a 20% spawn chance, and it is located in a secret section of the Cold Distance area in the Stilshrine of Miriam. In order to access this place, the player will need to find the secret passage in the Ward of the Sword-King area. The secret passage is located on the western wall close to where the Darkmare originally spawns. The wall that will vanish if the player approaches it in a way the camera will attempt to go "inside" the wall.
It is highly recommended to have Float on before entering this area. If not, the party will immediately step on a trap and all of the characters will become poisoned, confused and berserked.
