Matcha mousse take half damage from normal weapons and are weak to fire and light, absorbing the other elements. They only use physical attacks, slapping with their stretchy arms, pouncing onto the player (can be block/parried), and chomping on them with their mouths. They energize the tips of their "hands" to deal darkness damage that cuts the party's max health.
Strategy[]
Fire elemancy and royal arms work well. Other melee weapons do decent damage still with the Critical food buff or the vortex weapons from the Adventurer from Another World quest, or the Ragnarok season pass weapon.
Etymology[]
Matcha is finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves.
Mousse is a pudding-like dessert made of sugar, eggs, and usually some kind of flavoring, such as chocolate. It can also be made non-traditionally with cream as an ingredient.
Its Japanese name, arroz con leche, means rice pudding.
