Tutorial Description
The Marksman is a Basic Job in Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, and is available in the earliest stages in the game after purchasing the Season Pass. Leveling this job is required to unlock the Hunter job.
Marksman is a long-range range job centered around the Gun and is adept at dealing critical hits and piercing enemy weaknesses from afar. In terms of crowd-control, the Marksman can clear mobs of enemies without much risk due to the nature of the weapon and its invulnerability while evading attacks. The Marksman's passives make for a good evasive playstyle by reducing damage while shooting enemies from afar, an increase in pierce damage, and an extension of i-frames when evading attacks.

Job Action[]
The Marksman has access to the Dazing Bullet ability, which allows the player to shoot out a non-elemental magic bullet that interrupts an unblockable attack on hit. This helps the player if they are in close-quarters with the enemy and serves as an emergency means of defense.
Equipment[]
Marksman makes use of guns that are a great method keeping distance and dealing with large crowds of enemies. These weapons can deal serious damage and critical damage to foes from afar, but can be rather weak on their own.
Stats[]
The job gives a stat bonus to Intellect, giving the character more magical damage and increased MP recovery with normal attacks, but poorer health in exchange.

Job Affinity bonuses[]
Most weapons and items of clothing have a certain percentage of Job Affinity for a certain job. By combining them together and raising this percentage, the character may not only gain extra EXP to that Job, but also unlock abilities and bonuses to their stats.
