The Mantis Devil is an enemy from Final Fantasy II. It indeed holds demon-like qualities, having an elemental affinity for Fire, but not being weak to Ice. The Mantis Devil's most powerful attack is a Fire 16 spell, concentrated upon one party member, often resulting in huge damage to characters with low Magic Resistance (namely Guy).
