Battle[]

Mandrake is weak to one-handed swords, firearms and fire, and resists lightning and light. It flails with its tail when attacked from behind, claws with its hands when attacked from the front and pounces onto the player characters from attacked from afar (can be block/parried). Its attacks can easily stagger Noctis and knock him down or back.

Strategy[]

The player can character-swap to Gladiolus and avoid being knocked down by the mandrake's attacks quite so much, and raise the shield when it attacks. However, it is not a difficult enemy to defeat.
