The Mandragora Prince (マンドラプリンス, Mandorapurinsu?, lit. Mandraprince) is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in Final Fantasy XII. It is a stronger version of the Mandragora that appears as a boss encounter, often as part of the Mandragoras group.

Final Fantasy XII[]
The Mandragora Prince appears a boss encountered in the Sochen Cave Palace as a member of the Mandragoras, and later as a regular enemy in the Feywood, where an Indigo Pendant can be rarely stolen from it. It is also fought in the Zodiac versions' Trial Mode Stage 24 alongside eight regular Mandragoras, and in Stage 27 with the other boss Mandragoras where the Sash can be stolen from it.
Final Fantasy XIV[]
The Mandragora Princa appears as a boss encountered during One Prince in Lower La Noscea. Despite its size, it fights no differently than regular Mandragoras, using only auto-attacks.

The Mandragora Prince from Final Fantasy XII appears as an enemy, as well as a boss alongside the Mandragoras.
Mobius Final Fantasy[]
The Mandragora Prince appears as a wind-elemental enemy and boss encountered during the "Light of the Skies" Final Fantasy XII event. It and the other Mandragoras act as minions of Judge Gabranth. It can be obtained as a life-elemental Support ability card granting the Monk's Trance ability.
Etymology[]
Mandragora is a plant belonging to the nightshade family. According to legends surrounding witchcraft, when mandragoras (Mandrake plants) are uprooted, they emit a piercing scream which kills all who hear it.
