Final Fantasy XI description

Manafont (魔力の泉, Maryoku no Izumi?, lit. Spring of Magic Power)/(マナフォント, Manafonto?), also known as Mana Spring, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series.

Appearances[]

Final Fantasy XI[]

Manafont is a special job ability for the Black Mage. It allows all spells cast by a Black Mage to cost 0 MP, and no MP is necessary to begin casting for 30 seconds. It can be recast every 1 hour.

Final Fantasy XII[]

Mana Spring is an enemy ability used by Cúchulainn, Shemhazai, Zodiark, and Tower. It grants the user the augment 0 MP, and has 3 CT and will always work on the user.

Manafont in XIV is a Black Mage action obtained at level 30, by completing the quest "Taking the Black". It is the first skill acquired after Evolving the Thaumaturge class to the Black Mage job. It restores 30% of the user's maximum MP, which under most circumstances equals 3000; has no cast time and a cooldown of 120 seconds (2 minutes).

Dissidia Final Fantasy/Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[]

Manafont is an EX Mode ability for Shantotto, which allows her to retain her Bravery after landing a HP Attack and includes her EX Burst.

In Dissidia 012, Shantotto's Bravery drops to zero after dealing HP damage, but will instantaneously return to its base value afterwards regardless of its amount.

Manafont is the job skill for the Black Mage Memoria. It reduces charge time on Black Magic by 15% at level 1, 17% at level 2, and 20% at level 3.

Manafont is an ability learned by Livid Shantotto at level 105 (7★) and Lady Shantotto. It has a 12 turn cooldown (8 with Livid Shantotto when fully upgraded). It restores 3996 MP split over 4 turns to the caster, increases MAG by 250% for 4 turns to the caster, and enables access to the abilities Aeroga V, Blizzaga V, Firaga V, Stonega V, Thundaga V, and Waterga V for 4 turns.
