Malboro Brat is an enemy in Final Fantasy XV fought during the Dreadful Legend sidequest. It can also appear alongside its grown version, the malbodoom, in the Timed Quest near Cape Caem during the 14th of each month.

- Baby malbodoom born in the Lucian continent. The brat behaves similarly to the sprout and, indeed, coagulates with its siblings around a maternal malboro. The only real difference from its imperial cousin is its pigmentation.
- Size: 4.72 ft. Weight: 568.3 lb.
- Beta
- Malbodoom offspring that appeared along with its mother outside of Cape Caem in southern Cleigne. Despite its propensity toward violence, the brat will quickly flee in fear if its mother malbodoom is slain.
- Size: 4.65 ft. Weight: 562.8 lb.

Malboro brat is a miniature malboro that appears alongside its elder kin. They are slow, and tend to not attack much and are more of a nuisance and a distraction whereas the big malboro is the main target. They chomp down those they can reach with their mouths and may all focus on the same target, crowding them. They are weak to greatswords, machinery, ice and fire, and resist lightning and light.
Strategy[]
The player should focus on the main malboro rather than on the brats. During the Dreadful Legend quest, throwing ice elemancy at the water where the malboros appear freezes them in place, making them helpless until the water thaws. The player needs to be careful to not be touching the water themselves when casting it, however, or they will be frozen in place as well.
If fighting them with melee attacks, it is best not to get in the middle of numerous malboros attacking at once, and create some distance if they begin to group together.
Etymology[]
The name may be a reference to Marlboro Cigarettes, since the creatures often spew horrid fumes from their mouths.
