Template:Sideicon Template:FFXII Enemy The Malboro is a plant/malboro-type enemy from Final Fantasy XII. It can be found in the The Needlebrake and Paths of Chained Light areas of Golmore Jungle. Malboro returns in Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings as an enemy. As in most other "Final Fantasy" games where it appears, Bad Breath is its main attack.

Bestiary Entry

Page 1: Observations

Being a hideous creature with brownish-green mottled skin, and writhing tentacles. It eats only of flesh, drawing no sustenance from photosynthesis as common plants do. Favoring stealth, it approaches its prey in silence, then strikes without warning, swallowing its victim whole. Its maw is filled with powerfully acidic saliva, and breathing the miasma that is its foul breath causes poisoning and madness.

Etymology

The name may be a reference to Marlboro Cigarettes, since the creatures often spew horrid fumes from their mouths.
