How uncouth!

The Malboro of Final Fantasy X is a fiend encountered more easily in the northwest of the grassland area in the Calm Lands, and occasionally in the rooms (not hallways) in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth.

Stats

Battle

Malboro is one of the tougher monsters of the Calm Lands due to its Bad Breath ability, which inflicts several status effects on the active party. This attack causes Silence (100% chance and by 3 turns), Darkness (100% chance and by 3 turns), Slow (30% chance and by 3 turns), Poison (150% chance), Confusion (80% chance), and Berserk (30% chance). Kimahri can learn this skill as a Ronso Rage.

When Malboro is defeated it might drop armor with wards against many different status ailments. It will also drop weapons with Sleeptouch, Silencetouch, Poisontouch, or Darktouch.
