Malboro is probably the least dangerous of the enemies in Darill's Tomb, as it is the only one that cannot inflict the 
Zombie status. Instead, they have a 33% chance of using Bad Breath on their second turn, inflicting one character with various status ailments. Their special attack, Drool, inflicts sap on a party member. Fira spells work best to defeat them quickly.

Etymology[]
The name may be a reference to Marlboro Cigarettes, since the creatures often spew horrid fumes from their mouths. The word "mal", originating from Latin, means "bad" or "evil" across many languages, including English, where it is not used on its own but can be found within words such as "malevolent" or "malefic".
