Mako Reactor 0 is a dungeon located under Figaro Castle in the Desert Region of Grymoire in World of Final Fantasy, accessed from the Underground Prison. It is the main setting of Chapter 15, "The Mako Reactor and the Black Mages".

Locations[]

Sector 1[]

Contains a Gate near the dungeon's exit back out to Underground Prison. After activating the generator by providing power to the two terminals, the player can access Sector 2 from the northwest. In the northeast is an elevator to Sector 4 that is initially blocked off by several doors; activating a switch in that sector lowers them.

Sector 2[]

After activating the generator by providing power to the three terminals, the player can access Sector 3.

Sector 3[]

From Sector 2, the upper floor consists only of a walkway that leads to Sector 4. At the bottom floor, accessed from another entrance to Sector 4, contains a Save Crystal and two elevators. The elevator on the right leads to Sector 5, and the elevator on the left leads out to Figaro Castle, initially inactive until after Chapter 15 is cleared.

The rare Mirage Garchimacera can only be fought at this specific sector.

Sector 4[]

Contains a Murkrift housing three Mythril Giants. After activating the generator by providing power to the four terminals, the player can access the bottom floor of Sector 3.

On the upper floor in the northeast is an elevator leading to Sector 1, another Save Crystal and a switch that initiates a 15-minute self-destruct timer (which counts down even during battles). Hitting this switch also opens up entry to Sector 6, but causes some doors in the entire reactor to close and open, forcing the player to backtrack through the previous sectors back to this area. The timer stops after touching the switch on the bottom floor in Sector 3.

A Gimme Golem blocks the way to Sector 6. A Dazzledisk can be found in the same area in the west.

Sector 5[]

Houses the reactor that powers Figaro Castle. During Chapter 15, Vivi and five Black Mages are fought here.

Sector 6[]

A secret area with no random encounters. Approaching the back of this area triggers a cutscene and a battle with a Gigantuar and a Gigantrot.
