Magician Robe (魔術師のローブ, Majutsushi no Rōbu?, lit. Mage Robe), also known as Wizard Robe and Wizard's Robe, is a recurring robe in the Final Fantasy series.

The Magician Robe is a mid-ranked robe equipped by Vivi, Dagger, Eiko, and Quina. It provides 21 Defense, 3 Magic Defense, and +2 Magic level up bonus. Though not mentioned in the menu, it makes the wearer weak to Fire.
It can be synthesized for 3,000 gil at Alexandria, Daguerreo, Treno (after returning from the Outer Continent), and Lindblum (after returning from the Outer Continent), found at the "Bird's-eye Lagoon" chocograph treasure and is bought in the Treno Auction House. It teaches Auto-Potion and MP+10%. It is used in synthesis in the end of the game to make a Light Robe

The Wizard's Robe is a low-rank robe that costs 4,000 gil to buy, and provides +30 HP, +22 MP, and +2 Magick. It can also be found as a rare hidden treasure when fighting inside Lionel Castle.

Many mages were considered suspicious and were often shunned by others before magic became common practice. Black mages decided to play along with the fear their magic instilled in others, and tested their luck against the intrusions and persecution they faced from those around them. The fruit of such efforts is the wizard's robe, which hides the face and runs all the way down to the feet. This robe paired with the pointy wizard's hat is what came to be known ad the traditional black mage's ensemble.

Wizard's Robe is a Robe that provides 18 DEF and 12 MAG. It can be obtained by buying it at Felicitas Town for 1000 gil, by crafting it with 3 Dark Crysts, 1 Dark Megacryst, 5 Gaia Tears, 5 Spellsilks, and 200 gil, or finding it during the exploration of Lanzelt Ruins.
Magician Robe (FFIX) is a robe obtained during the Final Fantasy IX exploration event, Memoria. It provides 16 DEF, 24 MAG, and 20 SPR.
