Description
Magic Source is a stat-upgrading item item in Final Fantasy VII permanently increases the Magic of one character by 1. Magic, when added to any equipment boosts, determines the character's Magic atk stat.

Magic Source is the hardest Source to farm, as the only way to get additional ones is by fighting the Unknown 3 in the Sunken Gelnika. It is advised to have a way to negate or nullify Lightning-elemental damage as Unknown 3 uses Bolt3. Keeping the party in the back with high Defense is recommended to minimize the damage from its physical attacks. With the Conformer and L4 Suicide, it becomes much easier to farm.
