The Mage's Staff (魔術の杖, Majutsu no Tsue?) or (まじゅつのつえ, Majutsu no Tsue?), also known as the Mage Staff, or Magic Staff, is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series.

Description

The Mage Staff is found in the Sunken Shrine and casts Fira when used as an item. It provides 12 Attack, 10 Accuracy, and 31 Critical, and can be equipped by the Ninja, Black Mage, and Black Wizard.

Final Fantasy II[]

Description

The Mage's Staff is a mid-level staff found in Deist Cavern and Palamecia Castle, or obtained after defeating Magicians. It casts Thunder V when used as an item in battle, and has an Attack of 40.

Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light[]

The Magic Staff is the weakest staff, having an attack of 1 and magic attack of 3. It can be bought in Guera, Liberte, and Urbeth (after Darkness) for 95 G.

Mage has a staff icon before its name. It can be bought for 17000 GP in Edo and Final Town, but can also be found in Volcano. It has 15 uses, it also increases a Robot's HP by 81. The damage formula for Mage is the user's Mana x8. It attacks all enemies, and deals Fire-elemental damage.

Dissidia Final Fantasy[]

The Mage's Staff is one of the two weakest staves, granting +11 Brave and +3 Attack. The only advantage it has over the regular Staff is the bonus of +10% to the duration of EX Mode.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy[]

The Mage's Staff is a level 1 weapon and received a power boost, granting +17 Brave and +13 Attack as well as EX Mode Duration +5%.

Mage's Staff (II) is a LD Staff for Minwu that enables access to the LD ability, Soul of Rebirth, as well as the abilities Soul of Rebirth Power, Soul of Rebirth Advance Up, and Soul of Rebirth Charge++. It provides 90 HP, 55 DEF, 270-345 iBRV, 2946-3396 mBRV, 994-1144 ATK, and adds 90-100 CP.
