The Machinist (機工士, Kikō Shi? or マシーナリー, Mashīnarī?, lit. Machinery), also known as Chief, Engineer, Gadgeteer, or Tinker, is a special job that appears in various games in the Final Fantasy series.
Profile
Machinists are known for their expertise with machinery and their ability to handle various devices. Each Machinist is unique in his/her own special way, and sometimes is associated with one or two additional classes. The Machinist class is usually a physical class, though its moveset usually has a theme of duality about it, such as using both physical and magical attacks. In some releases, the Machinist's abilities overlap with Gunner's.
