The Machina Striker is an enemy in Final Fantasy X-2. It is a machina enemy weak to Ice. In Last Mission and HD Remaster versions, a captured Machina Striker can be turned into the aeon Ixion.

Using Ice attacks brings it down quickly, so attacks such as Blizzaga and Ice Brand inflict the most damage to it. It is also wise to have some status resistance to Sleep, Darkness and Silence.

Machina Striker can be fought as the team 'No Limit'. Players who seek to upgrade their party, especially captured creatures, would benefit from fighting Machina Striker. Apart from its high EXP yield, the machina also has rare offensive item called L-Bomb to be stolen and three as a common drop. Consuming 10 L-Bombs will teach Fireworks, one of the most powerful abilities in the game.
Its rare drop, Petrifying Grenade, can also teach the even stronger ability Hurt when 10 or more units are obtained and then consumed on a creature. Teaching Hurt to any creature with a high HP pool, high Strength stat, and the Total Limit Break or Break Damage Limit auto abilities, can potentially result in them surpassing 50,000 points of damage in one hit.
To enter the Aeon Cup in the Fiend Arena, the player must capture and raise the story levels of eight special creatures. Though these creatures will immediately be available to be released upon capture, the player must raise their story levels by four before releasing them to change that particular creature into an aeon. The Machina Striker is one of these eight creatures, capable of being changed into Ixion.
