Lustrous Helm (ひかりのかぶと or 光の兜; ヘルム・オブ・ライト, Hikari no Kabuto; Herumu obu Raito?, lit. Helmet or Helm of Light), also known as Paladin Helm, Paladin Helmet, Light, Paladin, Helm of Light, and Light Helm, is a recurring helmet in the Final Fantasy series.

Description
Lustrous Helm is the initial helmet for Paladin Cecil, and provides 7 Defense, 2 Magic Defense, -10 Evasion, 1 Magic Evasion, +3 Spirit, and resistance against attacks from Undead monsters. It can only be bought in Mysidia for 4,000 gil.
In the 3D versions, Lustrous Helm instead provides no Magic Defense and the Spirit boost is no longer given.
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years[]
Lustrous Helm provides 7 Defense, 2 Magic Defense, -10% Evasion, 1% Magic Evasion, + 3 Spirit, and is strong against undead attacks. It is initially equipped on Cecil. It can also be equipped by Cecil, Ceodore, and Kain.
Final Fantasy XIV[]
The Helm of Light is a level 1 helmet usable by all disciplines. While it provides minor stat bonuses, its main purpose is providing a 20% bonus to experience earned below level 10. It can be acquired as a bonus for purchasing the Collector's Editions of either the original release or A Realm Reborn.
